I endorse Lorin Johnson for re-election to the Harvard Board of Health. We, as concerned residents of Harvard, all wish the very best for our community. And we have overcome many problems over the years together, with the guidance of our intelligent and capable neighbors. One such person is Lorin Johnson, with whom I’ve had the pleasure of serving on the Board of Health for more than six years. Lorin brings relevant experience and insight to the board because he is a lifelong resident of this evolving community. While we certainly might not have agreed on every course of action, the board’s discussions have always improved its decisions and benefited the town. Lorin brings a deep-seated belief that our Board of Health exists to benefit each resident, the environment, and the community as a whole, and not to just implement the decrees of the commonwealth. Many of our friends and neighbors can attest to the civility and compassion the board has exercised in sometimes difficult circumstances. We need this to continue; therefore, I urge you to vote for Lorin Johnson at Town Election.
