Newer resident urges re-election of Lorin Johnson to Board of Health

March 24, 2016

My name is Clifford B. Tomassian, and I reside at 50 Turner Lane in Harvard. I have degrees from MassBay Community College, Salem State, Framingham State, and a master’s from Cambridge College, and I am also a lifetime member of the Harvard Sportsmen’s Club.

My wife and I moved here during the summer of 2013. During this time period, the Board of Health approved the tight tank that was installed. We had the well tested by two different companies, and the water passed with flying colors, both times.

The Board of Health was still having concerns about the physical premises. By chance I met up with Lorin Johnson at Hillside Garage and asked him if he would come down to my residence and look for himself. I was pleasantly surprised when he agreed. Mr. Johnson came down, took his time, checked the house as much as he desired, and found no problems. We were granted a waiver and have been living here since. At this point in time, we are both registered voters in Harvard.

The professionalism shown to my wife and me by Mr. Johnson was extraordinary. He truly cared about our situation.

I am writing this because I understand Lorin Johnson is running for re-election, and I firmly believe the town of Harvard would benefit greatly by re-electing Lorin to the Harvard Board of Health for another term. He truly cares about Harvard and the people in it.

Please call me at 978-424-7024 if you have any questions regarding this letter or Lorin Johnson.
