Fed up with town government? Think you could do a better job?
The selectmen this week set March 5, 2016, as the date for the annual Town Caucus, the traditional start of the local election season. As usual, caucus will convene at 7 p.m. on a Saturday night, when prospective candidates and their supporters will gather to vie for a place on the ballot at town elections April 12. The proceedings generally last about 15 minutes, but the rewards are immeasurable. The site of the caucus will be announced later.
