Nina and Carl Benkley and Jim Griffeth proudly announce the marriage of Ashley Griffeth (Bromfield ’04) to Brendan Mackoff, son of Tricia and Mich Mackoff. The wedding took place on July 4, at West Parish Church in Andover. This was the same church where the bride’s parents, grandparents, and aunts were married. A reception followed at the Stevens Estate in North Andover. In attendance were Molly Jacobson (Bromfield ’06) as maid-of-honor, and Michael Griffeth (Bromfield ’07) and Brendan’s cousin Roberto Castro-Mahoney (Bromfield ’03) as groomsmen.

The morning of the wedding, the bride, groom, and bridal party of 10 participated in a 33-year Mahoney/Mackoff family tradition with the running of the Independence Day 5K road race in Needham.

The bride was on Bromfield’s first rowing team and went on to row for Northeastern University, graduating in 2009. She later earned a master’s degree in education from Lesley University and now teaches third grade in Needham. The groom attended Hopkinton High School and graduated from Bowdoin College in 2006. He completed his MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2015 and now works as a product manager at TripAdvisor in Needham.

The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Greece. They recently moved to Needham.
