Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce’s Board of Directors welcomes its new executive director, Kathleen McDonald.
Having successfully led the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce as its executive
director, McDonald brings valuable executive management and marketing management
experience to leading the Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce as it strengthens,
supports and promotes its members and the business community.

Originally from Middlesex West, her family having lived in Acton for twenty-five years,
McDonald is relocating back to the area. McDonald is also a highly experienced
marketing professional having developed and implemented campaigns in marketing
communications, public relations and strategic marketing for organizations in the
non-profit, healthcare, and high-tech sectors. She previously operated her own
marketing consultancy in the Boston area and understands, first-hand, the challenges
businesses face. Her work with The Wellness Community of Greater Boston and
Nurse Practitioner Associates for Continuing Education rounds out her credentials for
leading the Chamber with successful fundraising and experience in community outreach
programs. McDonald is a graduate, summa cum laude, from the University of California,
Irvine and Boston University.
In her acceptance of the position, McDonald stated “As the chamber’s executive
director, I welcome the opportunity to work together with the board of directors, staff,
membership, and the business community to expand the Chamber and realize a thriving
Middlesex West business community.”
The Middlesex West Chamber of Commerce proudly serves eight towns in the
Middlesex West County (Acton, Boxborough, Carlisle, Concord, Littleton, Maynard,
Stow and Westford) and promotes and supports business and non-profit members in
over thirty towns. The board of directors welcomes Kathleen McDonald’s leadership
and enthusiasm as we continue to grow together to advance the Middlesex West
Chamber of Commerce’s mission.
