Creating action in 2015: The SHOUT!
Sunday, April 19
Inspired by an interfaith panel on climate change at Harvard Divinity School, The SHOUT! will bring together people of all ages and affiliations to retrace the historic revolutionary ride from Charlestown to Concord in hopes of inspiring individual and collective action to address the challenge of climate change. Sunday’s events will include: groups of walkers following the route from various points, beginning in Lexington at 8:30 a.m.; a bike ride from Charlestown at 10 a.m.; a BYO picnic with family-friendly activities at First Parish in Concord from 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.; a procession to Minute Man National Historical Park at 1:30 p.m.; and a rally for climate action at 2 p.m. Go to shoutroc.org for more information.
