Bromfield graduate, realtor, animal lover
Barbara C. DiPietro, 82, of Lancaster, Ohio, former 27-year resident of Harvard, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the Pickering House.
She was a graduate of the Bromfield School, a retired realtor, and initiated a pet therapy program in Lancaster, Baltimore, and West Rushville, Ohio. She loved animals and nature.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Linda Roderick of Lancaster, Ohio, and Carol DiPietro of Plymouth, Massachusetts.; grandchildren Benjamin Roderick and Lauren Roderick, both of Lancaster, Ohio; a sister, Diana Wetherell of Circleville, Ohio; a niece, Robin Saum, and four other nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph DiPietro, parents John D. and Julia B. Henry Johnson, and sister, Jacquelyn Johnson.
Arrangements were made by the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
