Hill wins concerto competition

The Indian Hill Music School has announced that cellist Alex Hill, 17, is the winner of its Student Concerto Competition. Alex took the top prize with his performance of the moderato movement of Haydn’s Cello Concerto in C Major, Hob. VIIb No. 1. He will perform with the Orchestra of Indian Hill, under Music Director Bruce Hangen, at the orchestra’s “Showcasing Our Own” concert, Saturday, April 25, at the Littleton High School Performing Arts Center.
Alex is the son of Andrea and Paul Hill.
