Bromfield graduate Jason Valladares is a recipient of the Wilder Trustee Scholarship at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y. Named for John Wilder, the first president of the University’s Board of Trustees, this scholarship is given to students who have demonstrated excellent academic and extracurricular achievement and have the potential to make strong, unique contributions to student life at Rochester. Valladares is a freshman at the University and is the son of Julio Valladares and Mary Keefe.
