I have known Deb Thomson professionally for several years through her work as a lobbyist for National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Massachusetts Chapter (MANAELA). Deb does a wonderful job of analyzing complex legislation and giving the positives and negatives of bills under consideration to help the chapter weigh the issues and make more informed decisions. Her work shows her ability to work well with others and build consensus. In the MANAELA Public Policy Committee she helped very experienced attorneys see each other’s views and reach agreement. As a lobbyist for elders in Massachusetts, she worked with legislators and others with different opinions and approaches in creating solutions.
Her past work has refined her ability to articulate differences while maintaining civility. I believe she can work effectively with anyone and will be a good addition to our Board of Selectmen. Please consider voting for Deb Thomson on Nov. 4.
