Wondering how Harvard’s apple crop is looking? “It’s different every year,” said Pam Lawson of Doe Orchards. “This year it’s tree to tree. Where we have apples, it’s a good crop and the apples are big. Also, for some reason, the flowers were further in on the branches this year, so the apples are harder to see. It’ll be a good year for PYO apples though!”

Old Frog Pond Farm, 38 Eldridge Road
PYO raspberries. Potatoes, tomatoes and other assorted vegetables at the farm stand. All crops certified organic by Baystate Certifiers.
Westward Orchards, 178 Mass Ave.
PYO blueberries. Ginger Gold and early Gala apples, yellow and white peaches, pears, plums, nectarines, honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon, beans, beets, cabbage, carrots, cucumbers, eggplant, lettuce, kale, parsley, peppers, radishes, summer squash, tomatoes (including heirloom), and zucchini.
Willard Farm, 218 Still River Road
Bi-color and Silver Queen corn, tomatoes, peppers, hot peppers, eggplant, Red Norland, Kennebec and Green Mountain potatoes, winter squash, and gladiolas.
