Former Harvard Press editor Lynda King’s book “Preppers: History and the Cultural Phenomenon” was published this month by Prepper Press Publishing, a small publishing house that describes itself as “specializing in books for those who are preparing for events that could disrupt life as we know it.” The book, which looks at what preppers used to be and who they are today, is available from the publisher and from Amazon.
Former Harvard resident and 1973 Bromfield graduate Julie A. (Culverhouse) Dickson is the author of “Bullied Into Silence,” which was published in June by Piscataqua Press of Portsmouth, N.H. The book, which describes true accounts of bullying, is available through the publisher and at booksellers, including Barnes and Noble. Dickson, a poet and author of young adult fiction novels, is a resident of New Hampshire.
