Steven J. Strong, president of Harvard-based Solar Design Associates and an expert on the integration of renewable energy systems, was interviewed on WGBH radio and television about the Harvard Solar Garden, an array of solar panels that will serve the electrical needs of a subscriber group of Harvard and central Massachusetts residents. The garden accommodates those who want to use solar power, but cannot install panels at their own homes, because of too-shady yards or other structural impediments.
Strong’s company is overseeing the design, engineering, and construction of the solar garden, which is on Ayer Road. He was interviewed by Anna Mostue for “WGHB’s Morning Edition,” and by Emily Rooney for “Greater Boston” on May 20.
