I want to thank all the people who have been phoning and writing to me about the articles on doctors in the Harvard Press. First, thanks must go to John Osborn, the paper’s editor, for following his “hunch that our readers want to know about the accomplished people who live—or have lived—in our town.”
Second, your heartwarming reminiscences have gone into my writer’s file to include in future articles, and I certainly will consider your suggestions of other profiles to write.
