Harvard Girl Scout Troop 30892 would like to thank all Girl Scout families and community members who attended the hoedown at HES last Saturday, March 8. We enjoyed the wonderful music of the Berlin Country Orchestra; their live music was a real treat. Square dancing was “learned” by all—at least we tried—with the help of the entertaining Bill Fischer, the caller. We thank everyone in the community who helped make it a success, from Girl Scout families who baked goodies, to Celebration committee members who shared some decorations. We thank the always polite and helpful Harvard public school custodial staff who helped make things run smoothly. We also thank Donelans of Littleton, Roche Bros. of Wellesley, and Hannaford of Ayer for donating delicious cheese, fruit, and snacks, which helped make our event a success. Thank you everyone for helping to make our hoedown a community success!
