I am writing to endorse Anne Wilson McWaters for Parks and Recreation. I have known Anne since her youth and know her to be honest, dedicated, and hard working. I have witnessed her commitment to Harvard as a member of this board over the last three years. When the playground needed attention to make it safer, Anne coordinated the effort to get new wood chips and then spent hours spreading them herself.
She has taken over responsibility for the Bare Hill Pond lottery and was responsible for the introduction of swim lessons for toddlers, which has been a huge success over the past couple of years.
We as a town would be lucky to have Anne serve another term on this commission.
