Valentine’s Day party
The Valentine’s Day party hosted by the Harvard Woman’s Club will be Wednesday, Feb. 12, for all those who signed up by Feb. 5.
COA at the movies
This month’s COA movie at the library Monday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. will tell the story of an elegant New York socialite who moves in with her sister in San Franciso after the socialite’s life, including her marriage, falls to pieces.
Lunch at Bamboo
Lunch at Bamboo in Westford Friday, Feb. 21, will offer a buffet selection that includes all-you-can-eat soup, appetizers, dim sum, and entrées. The COA bus will leave at 11:30 a.m. and return around 2 p.m.
Brain fitness workshop
A Brain Fitness workshop, part of the COA’s Life Transitions Educational Series, will be held Saturday, March 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Harvard Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Building. The workshop will offer techniques to help keep the aging brain quick and efficient, and will suggest foods for brain health.
On the road with COA

- Friday, February 28: “Chicago” at Theatre at the Mount, in Gardner, at 8 p.m. The van will leave Hildreth House at 7 p.m. and return at approximately 11:30 p.m. The cost is $30, due by Friday, Feb. 14.
- Friday, March 14: A trip to the Boston Flower Show at the Seaport World Trade Center. Lunch follows the show at Atlantic Beer Garden. Departure time from Hildreth House is 8:30 a.m., with return at about 4 p.m. The cost is $30 plus lunch.
- Thursday, March 27: A trip to see a rehearsal of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Lunch follows at 12:30 p.m. at the Cheesecake Factory. The van will leave Hildreth House at 8 a.m. and return at approximately 4 p.m. The cost is $20 plus lunch.
