40-year resident, St. Theresa’s parishioner, town employee
Antoinette (Audet) Hunt, 83, formerly of Old Mill Road, died Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014, at her home in Ayer. Her husband, Willard G. Hunt, died Feb. 17, 2001.
Mrs. Hunt was born in Morrisville, Vt., Oct. 4, 1930, a daughter of Adrien and Laura (Nadeau) Audet and had resided in Harvard for over 40 years. Most recently, she resided at Nashoba Park in Ayer, where she had many friends. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Parish, worshipping at St. Theresa’s Church in Harvard. She was also an avid Boston Bruins fan and enjoyed playing bingo.
Before her retirement in 1991, Mrs. Hunt worked as a teller at the Acton and West Acton branches of Middlesex Savings Bank. Prior to that she worked for many years in the cafeteria in the Harvard public schools and had also worked as a packer at Carlson Orchards in Harvard.
She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Richard W. Hunt and Nicole (Gionet) Hunt of Pepperell; three daughters, Barbara J. Hunt of Bradford, Vt., Linda J. Hunt of Shrewsbury, and Cynthia A. Jaksina and her husband Robert F. Jaksina Sr. of Townsend; five grandchilden, Stephanie Hunt, Jacquleen (Hunt) Papa, Robert Jaksina Jr., Kayleigh (Jaksina) Pennell, and Kimberly Jaksina.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, March 1, at noon, at Holy Trinity Parish worshipping at St. Theresa’s Church, 15 Still River Road, Harvard.
