Harvard native Ashley Jordan has announced the release of her latest album, “Nothing in Doubt,’ which she describes as having a “country acoustic feel with an Americana rock vibe.” The singer-songwriter’s music video for the song “If I Had You” has been airing on the Nashville Network in its show “Top Ten Videos.” Jordan was also nominated last week for “Country Act of the Year” by the 2014 New England Music Awards. According to its website, the New England Music Awards are “presented every year to the musicians who call New England their home and whose dedication, spirit, and achievements over the last year have without a doubt established themselves as a contributing force to the most robust and diverse music scene in the country.” The NEMA nominating committee consists of journalists from music publications, radio personalities, talent buyers, and record label executives collectively representing all six New England states.” The awards ceremony will take place on Feb. 21 and 22 at the Lowell Auditorium.
