Does civility matter? Join the LWV-sponsored conversation

November 15, 2013

The League of Women Voters held its first town conversation, “Civility Matters,” on Sunday, Nov. 10. We want to thank the 40-plus people who showed up to talk about what they value in Harvard, what they are seeing in terms of current behaviors, and the impact on the town of lack of civility. We also had no shortage of good ideas for ways that we can work together to ensure that the tough and difficult conversations that Harvard will have in the future will be conducted in a civil and courteous manner. The fruits of the conversation are shown in a graphic produced at the event, http://lwvharvard.org/lwvh_civilitymatters.htm.

We continue to encourage people in town to join the conversation and to work with us going forward. Interested people can send mail to civilitymatters@lwvharvard.org
