Canoes and kayaks must be removed
At its meeting last week, the Parks and Recreation Commission reminded residents who have rented racks at the beach that their kayaks and canoes must be removed by this coming Saturday, Oct. 19. Any boats remaining after that date will be removed by DPW.
Request for upgrades to baseball field
Darren Magan and Joe Jarosz requested funds totaling $21,650 to improve the Pond Road baseball field. Commission members asked them to speak with the Pond Committee prior to any further discussion.
