Dorothy M. (Hurley) Kelley, 94, of Somerville, formerly of Harvard and Cambridge, died July 1, 2013, at Little Sisters of the Poor in Somerville. She was born April 30, 1919, in Cambridge to the late David and Julia (Stanton) Hurley. Dorothy retired in 1983 after working 39 years, first as a legal secretary and then a medical secretary.
Dorothy was married to the late John F. Kelley. She is survived by her son, John Kelley of Wakefield; her brother, David Hurley of Auburn; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was planned for Thursday, July 11, in the chapel at Little Sisters of the Poor in Somerville, with burial following at Cambridge Catholic Cemetery in Cambridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 186 Highland Ave., Somerville, Mass. 02143. Arrangements were made by the Keefe Funeral Home in Cambridge.
