I’ve decided to reach out to the community and to the readers of the Harvard Press for help in finding the individual(s) who vandalized my car on May 23, 2013 while it was parked in the lower lot of the Bromfield School parking lot.
I was informed that this being the last day for Bromfield seniors, it was also “Senior Prank Day.” I’m all for fun and laughter, but not when it turns into senseless and unnecessary damage to others. My car sustained hundreds of dollars’ worth of intentional damage. The car was keyed and the hood ornament was yanked off and stolen.
This was not a prank but vandalism. I was not only shocked when I saw the damage but very sad to think it happened in Harvard. I have parked my car at a T station garage in Cambridge for the past four years without an issue. I’m hopeful and confident that I will find out who did this, and to help the process I’m offering a reward.
