COA  program coordinator needed

The Council on Aging is looking for a new program coordinator to help plan and organize social and educational activities and events. The present coordinator, Bill Herbert, is best known for organizing a wide variety of day trips and other social excursions, and for initiating the popular men’s coffee hour on Wednesday mornings. But with Bill’s moving to Vermont, the COA is looking for someone just as personable, creative, and responsible to plan trips and to facilitate educational and outreach programs as well. It is a great job for someone who enjoys working with the elderly and wants to give back to the community. The pay starts at $13.63 per hour, and the time commitment is just seven hours a week. A CORI check is required.

Applicants should send a letter of intent and a résumé to Executive Assistant Julie Doucet at Town Hall, 13 Ayer Road, Harvard MA 01451,  or fax 978-456-4107, or email jdoucet@harvard.ma.us by May 9, 2013.
