In the nearly three weeks since our 2013 reader survey was announced, close to 100 readers have participated, evenly divided between online and paper responses. In terms of survey sample sizes, this is already a good response, but with a circulation of more than 1,200 readers weekly, we want to hear from more of you before we tally results.
To be sure, we already have a wide range of responses, including glowing affirmations like “Great paper!,” and “Love the Press!” (thank you) to criticisms like “Too ‘nice,’ lack of real journalism,” and “Would appreciate less-biased reporting.”
We value both the praise and the criticism.
We will keep the survey open until June 8. If you’d like to respond online, go to harvardpress.com and click the link at the top of the page. Blank surveys (mailed with the May 17 Press) can be obtained at the General Store, the library, and Hildreth House, and either mailed to us or deposited in collection boxes at the same locations.
The Press is a community resource, and we need as much input and feedback as possible, as we look for ways to be the paper our readers want.
