Roy G. and Terri A. Lachapelle of Plainville, Conn., are delighted to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Rose Lachapelle, to Ian Douglas Bollinger, son of Lorrie and the late Jeffrey E. Bollinger of Harvard.
Lachapelle, a 2004 graduate of Plainville High School, earned a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from the State University of New York-Plattsburgh in 2008 and completed a master of science degree in biochemistry at the University of Massachusetts.
Bollinger is a 2003 graduate of the Bromfield School. He graduated from Worcester State University with a bachelor of science in computer science and is currently self-employed.
A June 2013 wedding is planned. The couple will make their home in Worcester.
