The Bromfield girls lacrosse team is having a great season thus far. They are currently above 500, which means they have more wins than losses.
The team consists of girls in grades 7-12, with senior Kiley Nygren as captain. They are coached by Hilary Kuss.
On Tuesday, Bromfield faced off against Hudson. Right from the start, they had a lead over their opponents and went on to finish the game 17-13, scoring yet another win. Freshman Sophia Turchetta said this about her game: “We played well…everybody [did]…the goals were spread out among multiple people.”
When asked how the season was going, Kuss told the Press, “So far the season is going really well. After our win at Oakmont [on May 7] we are 8-4 and one game away from qualifying for the playoffs. The team has come together, the upperclassman have been very supportive of their younger teammates, and the younger players are making great contributions to the team. We have been building on each game throughout the season, and I think we are really starting to come together as a team. I am hoping to finish the season out strong and have some success in the playoffs.”
Carlisle Ferguson is a freshman at The Bromfield School.
