- Thursday, May 2. Boston Symphony Orchestra. The rehearsal for the evening’s performance of Brahm’s violin concerto and Schubert’s Symphony in C will follow a lecture about the program and how it is presented. The van will leave Hildreth House at 8:30 a.m. and return by 3 p.m.. Lunch will be at the Cheesecake Factory. The cost is $20 plus lunch.
- Friday, May 3. “Art in Bloom” at the Fitchburg Art Museum. Visitors will have a chance to celebrate spring and admire the extraordinary floral arrangements inspired by the art collection of the Fitchburg Art Museum. The COA will leave Hildreth House at 9:30 a.m. and return by 3 p.m. The cost is $10 plus lunch.
