Bob Hubert’s show “Towners” opened March 9 at the Center on the Common. The show includes 50 portraits of individuals who live and work in the town of Harvard. Each portrait is a larger-than-life, black-and-white image, taken with the Century Studio Camera that originally resided in the Harvard Camera Center above the General Store. The show will remain on exhibit through March. Bob Hubert commented, “I developed 700 sheets of 8-by-10-inch film to get the negatives and then made the prints.”
Reflecting on his work he said, “I’m amazed. I never knew it was going to come out like this. I had only seen several at a time—not all at once like this.”
