Healthy Steps—Therapeutic Exercise
Ongoing, Tuesdays, 9:30–10:30 a.m.
The Healthy Steps program improves overall wellness, range of motion, balance, strength and endurance, as well as emotional well-being and self-image.
For clients ($10 per session) and the community ($12 per session).
Mindful Movement—Tai Chi and Qi Gong
Mondays, February 25 to April 1, 10-11 a.m.
This practice incorporates ancient healing art practices to promote living mindfully and is done through movement, breathing exercises, meditation and posture strengthening.

Candlelight Yoga
1st Monday of the month, 6:15-7:30 p.m.
Back by popular demand! Reduce the build-up of stress and tension, improve flexibility and strength, learn breathing techniques for emotional balance and fortify your energy for the rest of the month.

Healing Through Art
Mondays, through March 11, 12-3 p.m.
This painting class provides a safe and comfortable place to explore personal expression and take personal risks through visual art. Painting activities will focus on ways of seeing more clearly and in greater detail, using still life, objects, photographs, etc. as subjects. Dress comfortably and wear a smock or paint clothes, bring your lunch if you would like.
For clients and their families, friends or caregivers ($25 per session).
Morning Yoga
Thursdays, through May 30, 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Find a way to neutralize physical and emotional stress with tools such as postural alignment, breathing, and yoga poses to strengthen and lengthen weak areas. With consistent practice, your body awareness will improve, leading to an increased sense of well-being, relaxation, and health.

Journaling: A Self-help Tool For Coping With a Health Crisis
Wednesday, February 27, 11-12:30 p.m.
Journaling is the most widely recommended tool by therapists and counselors to supplement therapy. It is the ultimate self-help tool—accessible and cost efficient! In living with cancer or other health crises, those who journal report having an enhanced understanding of themselves, are more in touch with their needs and are better able to cope.
For clients ($15) and the community ($20). **Pre-requisite for clients to join the Journaling Support Group.
Holistic Healing Through Feng Shui—Your Home Can Help You Heal!
Wednesday, February 27, 7-9 p.m.
This presentation focuses on creating a healing environment using the principles of Feng Shui. By capturing the healing forces within your home, your home can be a key element to restoring and improving your health.
For clients ($15) and the community ($20).
Eating for Energy and Mindful Nutrition
Saturday March 9, 12-2 p.m.
In this seminar we will discuss: nutritional strategies that can be used to combat the effects of fatigue and boost your energy level, weight management, coping with nausea and appetite problems, difficulty swallowing or eating, and problems with constipation or diarrhea. Learn about helpful supplements, and understand which foods help strengthen your health and revitalize your energy.

Strong Women/Strong Bones
Tuesdays and Fridays, March 5-29, 11:30-12:30 p.m.
Did you know that women who participate in weight training programs increase strength, halt bone loss, improve balance and control their weight. Get launched into a fun, strength training program to help you look and feel better about yourself. This 4-week course is designed for women regardless of their age, physical status, size or shape.

Meditation and Imagery
Wednesday, March 27, 4:30-6 p.m.
Meditation and guided imagery offer people living with stress and illness an important tool in the promotion of health and well-being. Drawing on the natural ability of the body to heal, you will learn and practice strategies to release the relaxation response and to decrease worry and fear.

Jin Shin Jyutsu—Learn a Form of Therapeutic Touch to Benefit You and Your Loved One Through and Beyond Cancer Treatment
Saturday, March 23, 10-12 p.m.
It is often hard for caregivers to find ways of helping—Clients and caregivers can learn how to apply this easy tool of gentle touch to help re-invigorate energy, overcome stress, fatigue, injury and illness.
For clients ($15 per person) and family, friends or caregivers ($20 per person), reduced fee if come together as a client/caregiver pair.
Healing Sound
Sunday, March 3, 2-3 p.m.
Sound has the ability to be both therapeutic and transformative, creating vibrational changes that affect you on all levels. Physically, sound can change the rate of cellular vibration to a state of health. On other levels, sound affects the area of the brain which govern emotional and the behavioral response. On a spiritual level, sound can heighten awareness of and connection to our Divine Source.
