Tai chi
Starting this month, a new three-tiered payment system will be in place for the tai chi class at Hildreth House. The monthly rate for two classes a week is still $30. The Council on Aging is adding an alternative option of paying $15 monthly for one class per week, and $5 per class for those who can attend only a few classes a month.
Whichever option is chosen, payment will still be due at the first class of the month.

‘Arbitrage’
“Arbitrage,” a movie about a troubled fund magnate desperate to complete the sale of his trading empire, will be shown for seniors Monday, Jan. 14, at 1 p.m. at the library.

- Friday, Feb. 8. At the Harvard Museum of Natural History and Peabody Museum of Archeology, seniors will see prehistoric bones of animals from the time of the dinosaurs, meteorites from outer space, and a collection of 3,000 glass flowers at adjacent museums at Harvard University. Lunch is in Harvard Square at Fire & Ice, a special grill and bar. The trip will leave Hildreth House at 8 a.m. and return by 3 p.m. Cost is $20, plus lunch.
