Clara Wang, a senior at the Bromfield School, received the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents Certificate of Academic Excellence, presented to her by Superintendent Joe Connelly at the Nov. 13 School Committee meeting. In addition to ranking at or near the top of her class academically, Wang is president of both the senior class and of National Honor Society. She is also active in student government, plays soccer, is a member of the swim team, and volunteers at the Harvard Public Library. She plans to study international relations and political science in college.
