- Wednesday, Nov. 14. Seniors will visit the Taza Chocolate Factory, which is a “bean-to-bar” chocolate factory in Somerville. The tour group will be able to sample stone-ground Mexican-style dark chocolate, learn about cocoa beans, and see the machinery used to make traditional stone-ground chocolate. Lunch is first at S&S Restaurant in Inman Square, then on to the chocolates. The cost of $15 pays for van and Chocolate Factory. The group will leave Hildreth House at 10:30 a.m. and return by 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 27. Get in the holiday spirit and join a trip to Cataldo Nurseries in Littleton. The nursery will be transformed into a holiday wonderland with over 40 decorated Christmas trees. Do your holiday shopping, pick up a poinsettia, a decorated holiday wreath, garlands, holiday cards, live Christmas trees, outdoor greens, and much more. The group will leave Hildreth House at 9 a.m. and return at 11:30 a.m.
