Mark Saydah, owner of Whole Earth Landscape and Design, will offer a free Fall Landscaping talk Friday, Oct. 19, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the second floor of the Appleworks Building at 325 Ayer Road.
Saydah’s presentation will explain why fall is an ideal time for many landscape projects. It will also cover how to select the right plant for the right place, how to properly choose nursery plants, which species can be transplanted and when, what tools and supplies are needed, and successful care and management practices. There will be an opportunity to ask questions. Handouts and snacks will be provided. A free garden consultation and four hours of garden design will be raffled off.
