Finance Committee candidates
Town Moderator Robert Eubank presented the candidates for appointment to the Finance Committee. There are two three-year appointments open and two associate positions open. Eubank said that four people previously holding those positions all volunteered for reappointment. Those are Steve Colwell and Alice von Loesecke for the three-year posts, and Alan Frazer and Laura Vilain for the associate positions.
Leo Blair, of East Bare Hill Road, also volunteered for a position on the Finance Committee. Blair told Selectmen he didn’t realize when he volunteered that the current members were all volunteering for another term. He said he would be happy to wait for a vacancy in the future.
Eubank said he would make his appointments before July 1.
