Rhonda Sprague was the very first person I met over 25 years ago when coming to Harvard in search of the right home for our family. As a realtor and longtime resident of Harvard, Rhonda knew the town inside and out. Most importantly, she knew how to listen and understand our family’s priorities and needs. She met us where we were at, which ultimately resulted in helping our fledgling family, on a limited budget, find the right place for us. Rhonda, three Harvard houses later, has never let us down. In her role as Realtor, Rhonda knows a lot about bricks and mortar. People, however, are Rhonda’s priority and specialty. Rhonda recognizes that the true bricks and mortar of our community is the people who live here. The integrity of our town rests on caring for its people.
During her 37 years here, Rhonda has seen the ebb and flow of available resources. She has lived Harvard’s good times and bad, and she continues to weather the current challenging economic times as a smart and successful small business owner. Rhonda knows that carefully and immediately managing our limited resources is crucial to preserving the wellbeing of our community, so that all who call Harvard home today have the opportunity to call it home tomorrow.
Rhonda values our schools in a personal way, and sees firsthand that it is our schools that often bring her customers to Harvard. Rhonda is a mother of three Bromfield graduates, and a grandmother of three current Bromfield students. As selectwoman, undoubtedly, Rhonda would advocate for continued support of our schools.
