- Monday, March 26. The Council on Aging will visit the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. The group will have lunch first at Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant, where the décor, service, and enormous portions will make you feel you are visiting a real Italian eatery. Next, the group will visit the museum’s three floors of galleries, filled with paintings, sculptures, tapestries, furniture, and decorative arts and the garden courtyard. Cost of the trip is $25. The group will leave the Hildreth House at 10:30 a.m. and return by 4 p.m.
- Friday, April 13. Renew your love of history and patriotism by visiting the updated and expanded Minuteman Park in Concord. Explore the battlefields and structures associated with April 19, 1775. See the North Bridge, the Manse, and more. End with a lunch at the Colonial Inn. Cost is $20, plus lunch.
- Monday, April 30. The Council on Aging will visit the park where the Babe pitched, Yaz dazzled, and today’s stars still thrill Red Sox Nation. Fenway Park provides a 50-minute walking tour of the ballpark guided by an official tour guide. The group will leave Hildreth House at 9 a.m. and return at 3 p.m. Lunch will be at one of the adjacent sports bars before the group leaves the Fenway area. Cost is $20, plus lunch.
