On behalf of the Virginia Thurston Healing Garden, I would like to express our thanks to Marilyn Strong, therapist at the Garden, and Susan Macrae from the Unitarian Universalist Church. A wonderful event was held at the church on Feb. 4, organized by Marilyn and Susie. Tibetan musician, singer, and dancer Penpa Tsering gave a magical performance to a full audience.
The fundraiser for the Garden raised over $1,600, which supports integrative care services for close to a year for a woman diagnosed with cancer.
