The Bromfield Boys Cross Country team capped their season with a 14th place finish at the Division 2 state championships on Saturday at the historic Franklin Park course in Boston. It was the Bromfield’s first appearance as a team since 2008, and was made possible by a third-place finish the previous week at the Central Massachusetts Championship.
Senior Nick Kronauer led the way with a 58th-place finish, followed by senior Ellis Toll (75), freshman Price Day (90), sophomore Sam Dyer (153), and junior Drew Banker (157).
The Bromfield girls cross country team’s sole qualifier, freshman Sophia Collins, finished 91st in the Division 2 girls race, cheered on by several members of her team.
