Wednesday, August 31
At 2:14 p.m., police responded to Poor Farm Road, where a paving company’s truck was blocking the road. The company moved its truck, police report.
Thursday, September 1
At 6:45 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency at a home on Ayer Road. A 50-year old female was transported by ambulance to Nashoba Valley Medical Center.
Friday, September 2
At 1:59 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Old Shirley Road. A construction vehicle’s lights were on, but no one was inside the vehicle, police say. Police informed the owner of the vehicle. At 6:40 a.m., police investigated a report of an unattended horse wandering down Whitney Road. An officer checked the area but was unable to find a horse.
Saturday, September 3
At 1:12 a.m., police investigated a vehicle rollover on Prospect Hill Road. According to police, an officer saw a woman walking down the road and upon speaking to her, discovered she was bleeding and her car had rolled over. Cassandra Wood, 23, of 57 Seven Bridge Road, Lancaster, was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol, operating a motor vehicle negligently to endanger, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, speeding, and marked lanes violation. Wood was taken to Nashoba Valley Medical Center with minor injuries, police say. At 3:14 p.m., a resident of Bolton Road reported two motorcyclists had driven into her driveway, opened a garage and looked around, and left. Police say an officer checked the scene and found nothing out of place and did not find any motorcyclists in the area. At 11:56 p.m., police responded to a complaint of fireworks being set off on Littleton Road. Officers found debris but nothing else, police report.
Sunday, September 4
At 12:22 a.m., police issued summonses to three people in connection to the fireworks complaint reported above. At 8:18 a.m., police received a report of a possible stolen bicycle on Prospect Hill Road. An officer followed up and learned the bicycle’s owner had sold it and the buyer had come to pick it up, police say. At 9:41 a.m., police investigated a report of an erratic driver near the intersection of Still River and Prospect Hill roads. Police did not find an erratic driver in the area. At 8:42 p.m., police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on West Bare Hill Road. It was a rollover, police say, and the driver was taken to Nashoba Valley Medical Center. The driver was cited for speeding and marked lanes violation.
Monday, September 5
At 11:04 a.m., police checked the observatory on Pinnacle Road for vandalism and found nothing.
