Free booklets and talks available
Nashoba Nursing Service and Hospice, the local home health and hospice agency under the auspices of Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, offers free booklets and talks on home health services, hospice services, disease prevention, managing illnesses, nutrition, and developing, as well as advanced care directives.

Nashoba Nursing Service and Hospice serves the following communities as a health district: Ashburnham, Ashby, Ayer, Berlin, Bolton, Boxborough, Dunstable, Groton, Harvard, Lancaster, Littleton, Lunenburg, Pepperell, Shirley, and Townsend.
Affordable housing is currently available in Harvard
Harvard Trust Non-Profit Properties, Inc. owns and rents out nine apartment units in Harvard. Four are in the center of Harvard at The Inn; five are at Great Elms on Stow Road.
Harvard Trust Non-Profit Properties is committed to providing these units as affordable housing. This project is funded in part by federal HOME funds provided through the Massacusetts Department of Housing and Community Development. These units are available to income-eligible applicants on an Equal Housing Opportunity basis.
At the present time there is one unit available, a three-bedroom at Great Elms, renting for $1,025 per month (includes heat). Income limits are as follows:
- 1 person occupancy = $43,140
- 2 people = $49,320
- 3 people = $55,500
- 4 people = $61,620
