Late night rollover leads to multiple charges

A Harvard man was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol after a vehicle rollover near the intersection of Stow and Westcott roads was reported after midnight last Friday morning, Aug. 12, Harvard Police say.

Eric A. Flint, 19, of 141 Stow Road, Harvard, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs, operating under the influence of liquor, operating negligently to endanger, unlawful possession of a class D drug, unlawful possession of a class E drug, minor transporting carrying alcohol, and marked lanes violation.

Residents of a home in the area called police to report hearing the sound of an accident outside their house around 12:39 a.m. on Aug. 12, police say. The fire department and police responded, and officers reported one vehicle had rolled over and was leaking a small amount of fluid, police say.

The driver, Flint, was taken to the Nashoba Valley Medical Center and was arrested later, police say. According to police, Flint was not seriously injured.

Flint was released on bail.
