In accordance with MGL CH. 40C and the Harvard Historic Districts and Historical Commission Bylaw, the Harvard Historical Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the fireplace room at the former public library on Fairbank Street, on a Certificate of Appropriateness application by the Town of Harvard for proposed work on the exterior of Town Hall in the Harvard Common Historic District.  A copy of the application may be seen at the Town Clerk’s office.

Town Administrator Tim Bragan presented the application at the July 6 meeting of the Historical Commission, addressing the specific use of $100,000 in Community Preservation Funds voted for this purpose at Annual Town Meeting in 2010.

The commission encourages anyone interested in the restoration of Town Hall to attend this meeting.
