A heartfelt thank-you to all you customers and volunteers who participated in the 15th annual Harvard Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast at the UU Fellowship Building. Thanks also to the Press for publishing the photo spread of the breakfast.
Our 31 enthusiastic volunteers served 131 customers, and we netted $643 after expenses. That was matched by our church’s social action trust, so checks totaling $1,286 were sent to the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry in Devens. Our yogurt pancake recipe, initiated by Ed Pieters and enhanced by Jane Andrew, again received rave reviews from everyone. Hope to see everyone again next year!
