Ricci has served well

March 18, 2011

Ron Ricci has been an exemplary selectman who merits reelection to another term.
He has been instrumental in restraining growth in property taxes, thereby easing pressure on retirees on fixed incomes to move.

Without his support as a member of the Board of Selectmen and his service as the BOS-designated appointee on the Harvard Municipal Affordable Housing Trust Fund, it is likely that the 42 unit Bowers Brook senior rental apartment project on Ayer Road would never have come to fruition. Now, ground-breaking for this development is imminent. It will provide badly needed affordable rental housing for seniors, and the town will benefit from a two-year moratorium on “unfriendly” 40B projects.
Harvard will be well served if Ron is reelected to the BOS.
