Father of Harvard man, World War II veteran
Everett F. Dexter of Lunenburg, formerly of Concord and Marshfield, died Jan. 6, 2011.
A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Everett was the devoted husband of the late Kathleen A. (Keeley) Dexter and beloved father of James M. Dexter and his wife, Kate, of Harvard; Katherine Cancelliere and her husband, James, of Nashua, N.H.; and Ellen Joachim and her husband, Greg, of Lunenburg. He was the brother of the late Charles R. Dexter of Concord and the late Harry Dexter of Islesboro, Maine; and Diane (Dexter) Coombs of Islesboro, Maine.
He was the grandfather of Mark Dee of Maynard; Kathleen (Dee) Raymond of Leominster; Elizabeth (Cancelliere) Uribe of California; Jesse Dexter of Dorchester; Amy (Dexter) Lohr of Minot, N.D.; Devin Joachim of Lunenburg; and Nathaniel and Julia Dexter of Harvard. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
