Global Awareness club reports activities
Bromfield seniors Eve Karon and Grace Tuttle reported to the School Committee that the new Global Awareness Club has held two meetings and attracted about a dozen members. They plan to hold monthly meetings, each focused on a different global issue. This month’s topic, Karon reported, is world hunger. Both students have linked their senior projects to global issues, with Tuttle studying the water crisis and Karon raising money for mosquito netting to prevent malaria.
