During Lawrence Academy’s Founders’ Day on Oct. 14, Still River Depot Road resident Stephen Peisch was recognized for 25 years of service as a teacher at the school. Peisch, who continues to teach and serve as music director, is also in his 13th year as chairman of the Arts Department. A recipient of the school’s Departmental Award for Teaching Excellence, Peisch is a musician and composer in his own right, who has created both instrumental and choral pieces for performance throughout the area.
