Morning social hour for women starts
The COA is providing an opportunity for women to get together each week for coffee and socialization. All interested woman are invited to come to Hildreth House on Fridays from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Medicare information session to be held
The COA will hold an information session at Hildreth House Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. about the 2011 Medicare changes. Information will be provided to help ensure that your Prescription Part D plan continues to meet your needs, help you review your health plan in case of changes or terminations, and update you on premiums and co-pays and assistance programs. The presentation will be offered by a Shine (Serving the Health Information Needs of Elders) representative.
On the road with COA
Call the COA office at 978-456-4120 for more detailed information or to sign up for trips. Anyone who cannot afford a trip can contact the office about a scholarship.
- Saturday, Dec. 11: COA travelers will have an opportunity to see the Reagle Players’ matinee performance of It’s Christmas Time at the Robinson Theatre in Waltham. The show will feature precision dancers, a Living Nativity, and more. The group will leave Hildreth House at 11:45 a.m. and return about 4:30 p.m. Cost is $45, which is due with reservation.
- Friday, Dec. 31: The COA has reserved a private room at the Top of the Hub in Boston for a noontime New Year’s Eve celebration, complete with a meal, hats, and noise makers. The van will take tripgoers right to the door—no traffic or driving to worry about, and no need to stay awake until midnight. Reservations can be made now, with payment of $60.
