Harvard Cultural Council accepting grant applications
The Harvard Cultural Council (HCC) is accepting fiscal year 2011 grant applications that support cultural activity and contribute to the economic vitality of the community. Organizations, schools and individuals with proposals for community-oriented arts, humanities, and science projects can apply. This year, Harvard Cultural Council will distribute approximately $4,000 in grants.
Applications are available at the Harvard Public Library or online at www.massculturalcouncil.org. Submissions must be postmarked by Oct. 15 and returned to the Harvard Cultural Council, PO Box 110, Harvard, MA 01451. Shingles vaccinations available for seniors
Nashoba Board of Health is providing free shingles vaccinations for adults age 60 or older Friday, Sept. 24, at the Board of Health Office, 51 Cambridge St. in Ayer.
